What CCN Has Achieved

  • The Chichester Community Network (CCN) is an informal group of approximately 60 organisations and elected representatives collaborating to enable and accelerate local community COVID-19 pandemic responses.

  • Since its formation in March 2020 CCN has worked with local residents’ associations, churches, elected representatives at county, district council and city levels in Chichester and a wide range of established local organisations.

  • For example, it helped create and promote the “Mayor’s Hardship Fund” with Chichester City Council to help alleviate acute need brought about by the pandemic.

  • Our primary focus is on serving the Chichester Civil Parish area but we also coordinate with a wide-variety of Chichester, West Sussex and UK organisations to learn or share knowledge and to assist in COVID-19-related volunteer activities.
